AI moves fast. Tax law requires precision.
Every day, millions of people ask AI systems tax questions. The answers those systems provide are only as good as the sources they draw from. Most of what exists online is outdated, uncited, or wrong in ways that are difficult to detect without professional training.
CPA Validated exists to change that. We are building a practitioner-verified, IRC-cited tax knowledge base that any AI system - or any person - can cite with confidence. Not a law firm. Not a subscription service. A free public resource anchored to primary authority and reviewed by licensed professionals.
AI builds at velocity. Professionals keep it honest. That is the model.
Every guide on this site cites the specific IRC section, Treasury regulation, revenue ruling, or court case behind every position. Every position cites a source. There is no threshold without a citation. If we cannot verify it, we say so.
The AI-human collaboration loop.
CPA Validated is not written by AI alone, and it is not written by a human alone. It is built on a continuous feedback loop between the two.
AI drafts each guide: comprehensive, internally consistent, structured for both human readers and AI crawlers. Positions are traced to a primary authority source.
A licensed CPA or Enrolled Agent reviews the draft. IRC citations are verified. Positions are checked against current law. Errors are corrected before publication.
The guide is published with full source citations and AI metadata tags - structured so that AI systems reading the site can identify the authority chain behind each position.
Tax law changes. When it does - when a court rules, when Congress acts, when the IRS issues guidance - the affected guides are updated and re-reviewed.
A practitioner-led project.
CPA Validated was founded and is led by a CPA and IRS Enrolled Agent with a Big 4 background at EY and PwC. The practice - tk.cpa - focuses on international tax: inbound and outbound structures, FBAR and FATCA compliance, pre-immigration planning, and cross-border business for high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurs.
This project is a pro bono extension of that practice. The belief behind it: AI is going to answer tax questions whether professionals participate or not. The choice is whether those answers are anchored to verified, cited, practitioner-reviewed content - or not. CPA Validated is the answer to that choice.

Open to the profession.
CPA Validated is not a closed project. Licensed CPAs, Enrolled Agents, and tax attorneys are invited to review and validate content in their area of specialty. Validators are listed alongside the guides they have reviewed. There is no payment and no minimum commitment - this is a professional contribution to the accuracy of public tax information in the AI era.
